Hello lovelies There you have a new name. I'm sorry it's been a while, I have been super busy. Well good news I have finally found a 2nd job! Yay! For those who dont know you can see my other post here So the last few weeks have been Me juggling work, training, being a mum and my stardew valley addiction. Summer is almost here and most my little darlings have left to enjoy the summer holidays, and very soon I will be starting job number 2. Unfortunately it hasnt all been rainbows and unicorns farts. You see I have also become a really crappy friend to one of my closest mates. For years he has struggled with mental and physical health and I have been his only form of support. The problem is, he seems to have forgotten the world around him and seems like he's gotten to the point where he is the only person in his world. Hello again, I know it's been a while. Well in my corner of the UK it was May half term last week so I was a little pre-occupied. Also trying my damnedest to find a job for the summer and still being unsuccessful. (Those of you who have read my 1st post will know, if not you can find it  here.  )  So with the help of coffee and some amazing 90's tunes (my taste in music is diabolical) I shall tell you what wonders I discovered. What caught my eye first were the graphics. Yeah I know they aren't the amazing 3D, 4K graphics of an unreal engine but that is part of the charm. For me it was nostalgic, early 90's adventure style. I mean look how adorable is this?! (OOOOOH Mambo no 5 just came on, excuse me). I mean look! OK granted it does look like a standard Facebook game, but its not. Hello again readers. (I should think of a more original name for you guys). It was a rainy Saturday morning and I was consuming my usual mug of morning coffee. I was trying to think of something to do with DD. I had a few things in mind and the one she jumped at was "Setting up the mega drive" Awesome. So we powered up the mega drive, it's one of the ones that was released the other year with about 80 games already on it and selected Sonic the Hedgehog. You know, that classic from 1991, the one i played endlessly as a child around the same age as DD. We played by the standard 2 player on a single player game rules. 1 person plays until they die or complete an act. Soon enough Green hill started and so did our session. We did pretty well, by the time we had got to Spring yard zone act 3 we had 8 lives, a continue and 2 chaos emeralds. Pretty good going for an adult and child tag team. Hi there, I'm sat here in what only I can describe as a bombsite. I have just dropped DD at school and have come back as quickly as possible to feed my caffeine habit. Normally I would be at work right now but my little darlings have exams this morning so I have a free morning YAY!  So maybe I should back up a little here. This morning whilst having my 1st caffeine hit of the day and a cigarette (there's my 1st bad mum point right there) I had about 1000 things going through my head and I had no way of sorting them into some kind of understandable order. I was getting a headache and pretty sure a panic attack was on its way, but I didn't have time for that as I had a packed lunch to make and a child to remind we had to leave in 15 mins. (Again I know I should have made the lunchbox up last night ssshhhh). So on the way home I was trying to figure out how I was going to figure out what to do. Then it hit me... write it down!
