The new doctor
It's been a while I know. Tonight I watched the season premiere of Thirteen. I loved it. Not because it was the 1st female doctor, but because of something close to my heart. One of the characters, Ryan. We are told from the start Ryan who I am assuming is in his early 20s cannot ride a bike without stabilisers due to being dyspraxic. THANK YOU BBC for addressing this. My DD is dyspraxic, when I tell people this they automatically assume she's dyslexic or something else. She is not. Academically she is really good, although some dyspraxic children do suffer with dyslexia etc. My DD luckily does not. However she does have a habit of figgiting a lot due to it, and getting told off for such behaviour because her teacher doesn't know/ understand dyspraxica. She also sucks at sport.
